In the green heart of northern Zakynthos
Thalassa Green is located in the north of Zakynthos, set in a quiet, fenced olive grove reached by a private road. The neighbouring properties are mostly kept with olive trees, giving the whole place a pleasant feeling of space and continuity.
A stone’s throw from the beach and the fishermen’s bay
Agios Nikolaos Volimes is a small fishing port with an islet right at its entrance, overlooking a beautiful bay with a nearby beach. You will find lovely tavernas serving Greek and island cuisine, from land and sea, and you can board the ferries to visit another famous island, Kefalonia.
Designed for the lowest possible footprint
We chose wood from a renewable source as our building material, together with other materials to give the accommodations a welcoming, open feeling. The cottages rest on foundations but keep the character of mobile homes, with room for wheels, so that one day they can be moved and the olive grove can return to what it was.
Green, not only by name
The whole project is based on re-use and recycling, saving the natural resources of the island.

- Grey water purified and reused for garden irrigation (enzyme purifier)
- Energy-saving bulbs and double glazing
- Less plastic: refillable bottles and drinking water for guests
- Working with local eco groups to keep beaches and woodland clean
